| Killiebrae Jake: born on 05 may 2002 (ISDS nr. 260775), he is a descendant of Derek Scrimgeours dog Joe (ISDS nr. 238340) and Killiebrae Gina (ISDS nr. 250781). His grandfather is Derek Scrimgeours well known Sweep (ISDS nr. 198150). |

I got my shorthaired Jake with eight month’s. He was born on Lonscale Farm in the splendid Lake District, the accommodation of Derek & Helen Scrimgeour. That Jake was a talented dog, was a fact. Only fiftheen month‘s old he got his starting licence and he won his fourth ever trial (Novice) with 65 competitors. In the same year he was second in the Belgian Open (Novice).
He promoted into the Dutch Qualification Class (Open) in less than one season but we (Jake and I) had to work hard for our first big successes. These first 2 years in the Open Class where very difficult, because of my inexperience and the temperament from Jake.
Jake uses his own initiative skills (sometimes brilliant) a lot, what makes handling very difficult sometimes. But the last 2 years we’ve been growing as a team and our results are getting better and better.
Winner of the Maurik Open, the Wamel Open 2008, 3e at the Dutch Open in 2008 and 2nd in 2009 and we became members of the Dutch Team for the World trial in 2008. Jake and I will hopefully exceed these successes this year.
Jake has been tested/examined on Hips (hip dysplasia) and Eyes (CEA): OK/Normal
